PVB film performance

Safety: Due to the strong toughness of the PVB film and the glass, the laminated glass for construction has become a safety glass material with excellent performance. Once the glass is damaged, the debris will still stick to the interlayer film, and the glass will remain intact. It can resist the impact and wind and rain, avoiding personal injury or property damage caused by glass falling. Whether it is installed vertically or obliquely, it can resist  the penetration of accidental impacts.

Anti-theft: Laminated glass produced with PVB film is very tough, even if the thief breaks the glass, because the middle layer is firmly adhered to the glass, it remains intact, making the thieves unable to enter the room. After installing the laminated glass, the guardrail can be omitted, which saves money and looks good and can get rid of the feeling of the cage.

Structural integrity: Under normal load conditions, the performance of laminated glass is essentially the same as that of a single piece of glass. However, once the glass breaks, the laminated glass retains its integrity and few glass fragments fall.

Sound insulation: The flexible PVB film in the laminated glass blocks the sound waves and is extremely effective in reducing the annoying noise transmission. Especially in the buildings, airports, stations, downtown and roads, the sound insulation effect is very obvious after installing the laminated glass.

UV protection: The PVB film minimizes UV light and blocks more than 99% of harmful light. This helps protect valuable furniture, wall charts, displays or merchandise from fading by UV radiation.

Energy saving: The laminated glass made of PVB film can effectively reduce the passage of sunlight, and the thickness of the laminated glass made of dark low transmittance PVB film is stronger, can  maintain room temperature and reduce the using of air conditioner to save energy.
